Eleanor wakes up alone, in a near-featureless room with no windows or doors. A voice speaks to her from an unseen source: she's been in a car accident, and her mind has been transferred to a computer for safekeeping. Can they reunite the brain with the body again, or is Eleanor doomed to being locked in the computer generated room forever?
The Library stood in the dark. Crisp blue lights danced against the edges of the rain, and Col could see small rivers running through the street. It made the night seem like an old, low resolution film. A grainy memory.
