Hi! I'm Henry Neilsen. I'm a speculative fiction writer from Melbourne/Australia.

My work runs the gamut from fast-paced space adventure, to cyberpunk horror, to magical realism and literary fic. To date, I have published two novels and one anthology through Kickstarter under my own press, Hunting Sunrise Publications. I was longlisted for the 2026 Furphy Literary Award, and I was a finalist for the 2024 Aurealis Award for best science fiction short story.

I write a roughly once-per-month newsletter that talks about technology, its implications for society, or anything else that I'm focusing on at the time. You can find it on this very website, and subscribe for information on all my new books and publications.
