Henry Neilsen is a speculative fiction author, musician, and recovering tech enthusiast based in Melbourne, Australia. He was longlisted for the 2026 Furphy Literary Prize, and was a finalist for the 2024 Aurealis Award for best science fiction short story. He has published two novels, Sunward Sky and The Savage Aether. He is a staunch advocate of human-created art, and is the Vice President of Meridian Australis, a speculative fiction writing community.
